We finished the current storyline in our Mortal Coil campaign yesterday. Two sessions ago our heroes had found Lucy Blackthorn (agent of the Infernal) half-dead learned that Lucifer had left hell closed and unattended, leaving the recently dead to haunt the living. Lucy wanted them to find the Morningstar and get him to take up his duties again

The PCs (Ben Steinfeld, Theodor Winternitz and Robert Greene) followed the trail of Interpol Agent John Preston and his two captives Aurora Summer and Maeve Winter through Europe, finally locating his alpine hideout near the Grauspitz mountains in Liechtenstein

Yesterday our group met for our sixth session of Mortal Coil and I while I was looking forward to it, I was unsure where we were going with the rules. At least some of us where still struggling with the mechanics and I was seriously considering switching to a different system. Feelings about this in the group were mixed; one player is very happy

Apart from pencils and paper, this is all the physical tools we need for the game. I got myself a nice set of poker chips. They have a nice heaviness to them, and such a set isn't too expensive - about €25 at online poker stores.
